Located in front of the ocean on the Archilua Cliff, the Botanical Garden of Saint-Jean-de-Luz has been open to the public since 2002 and allows visitors to discover the local coastal flora. The Botanical Garden recreates the natural landscapes of the Basque Coast, including coastal pine woods, dunes and wetlands, with their emblematic plants. It also has thematic collections including Plants of the Five Continents, the Garden of Useful Plants, the Botanical Labyrinth. Guided tours, workshops, outdoor walks, conferences and exhibitions raise public awareness of natural gardening techniques and, more broadly, of the protection of the environment.
