The itinerary “Au fil de la baie” (Along the Bay)

Explore the bay at your own pace, as a family or on your own, on foot or by bicycle.

The “Au fil de la baie” booklet, the first publication via the label of the French Ministry of Culture called Pays d’art et d’histoire (Lands of Art and History), suggests that you follow two circuits so that you don’t miss any of the must-see sites of the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Ciboure. Walk around the historical or hidden streets to go back in time and get the measure of how centuries have modelled the landscape in these two inextricably linked towns.

Publication available in French at the CIAP Les Récollets and in the tourist offices of Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Ciboure (4€). Also in Basque:

  • in French : Parcours Saint-Jean-de-Luz et Ciboure, au fil de la baie
  • In Basque : Donibane Lohizune eta ziburuko ibilbideak, badian zehar
