At the outlet of the Nivelle River basin, there is a landscape of “barthes” across the territory of the two towns of Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Ciboure. “Barthes” are lands that are subject to tides. These lands merge into a bar of hills and woody crests as well as meadows, an outstanding natural landscape alongside the built landscape.
